DESCRIPTION:Sponsored by CapEd Credit Union and Professional Frame\, the Magic Valley Arts Council and Full Moon Gallery of Fine Art and Contemporary Craft proudly host the free Open House for the exhibit The Art of Teaching Thursday\, September 6 from 5-7 pm at the Twin Center for the Arts\, 195 River Vista Place. Come enjoys beautiful works of art\, great conversation and refreshments. The Art of Teaching exhibit features the creative expressions of over 20 area school art teachers\, and Full Moon Gallery artists. Area school art teachers are often overlooked in their abilities as creative artists in their own right. Featured artists are: Melissa Allen (Buhl High)\, Mary Amstutz (Canyon Ridge)\, Lindsay Ashmead (Jackpot Schools)\, Tami Aufderheide (Kimberly Schools)\, Jacob Carder (Twin Falls High)\, Leslie Coggins (Lighthouse Christian)\, Keith Farnsworth (Jerome High)\, Karen Fothergill (Filer Schools)\, Paul Hanson (Xavier Charter)\, James Haycock (TFHS)\, Jason Hicks (XCS)\, Marc Hiscox (Jackpot)\, Seve Isaacs (CRHS)\, Camille Johnson (TFHS)\, Frank Kiska (Gooding High)\, Victoria Lock (Valley Schools). Brad Nebekar (Wendell High)\, Leslie Redhead (Declo Schools)\, LeAnne SasserCollins (Acorn Learning)\, Tammy Scott (Hagerman Schools)\, Christine Sorenson (Harrison Elementary)\, and Gordon Sorenson CRHS).
