In an effort to offer appreciation and some much needed financial support for some local heroes, we are holding the 12th Annual Quick Response Unit Fundraiser! These heroic volunteers are first responders to emergencies and operate off funds raised throughout the year. These men and women are always ready to drop their daily activities to respond to an emergency call for help in our local rural areas that so many of us enjoy riding and playing in.
The proceeds raised at the event will be divided equally among 9 local Magic Valley QRU’s; West End (Paul), Filer, Buhl, Hagerman, Salmon Tract (Hollister), Rupert, Rock Creek (Kimberly) Bliss, and Castleford. We would like to set aside a day of acknowledgement for their efforts and sacrifices and say “Thank you”. These men and women often sacrifice their evenings, weekends, and family time to stand on call at rodeos, ball games, and more.
Sunday June 2nd, 2019 has been the day dedicated to the 12th annual event and all riding groups and outdoor enthusiasts alike are invited to participate. The days events will include such activities as a registration pancake breakfast, a motorcycle challenge run with stops at each of the QRU locations, live entertainment by Front Porch Flavor, raffle, evening BBQ, bounce house, photo booth, and much more!!
