Summary: The Marketing Director is responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies that promote the company’s products, services, and brand. This role oversees promotional campaigns, digital marketing efforts, market research, and marketing communications while collaborating closely with sales leadership and external marketing partners. The Marketing Director analyzes market trends, manages promotional activities, oversees digital marketing efforts, and ensures consistent brand messaging across all channels.
 
 Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that support company growth, sales initiatives, and brand positioning.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute promotional activities including print advertising, digital marketing, trade shows, direct mail, point-of-purchase displays, signage, and other marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze sales trends, product performance, and marketing strategies; prepare reports and provide recommendations to leadership based on findings.
  • Coordinate the development, production, and distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales, training, and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging and engagement.
  • Conduct market research using surveys, customer feedback, and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with third-party marketing partners to monitor and analyze digital marketing performance including SEO, SEM, Google Ads, and website analytics.
  • Design and create marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, catalogs, signage, and other promotional content.
  • Plan and coordinate company trade shows, customer events, and other marketing-related activities.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective customers through marketing initiatives and communication.
  • Manage and organize customer contact lists and marketing communications through email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact.
  • Gather and process donation requests and submit recommendations to company leadership for approval.
  • Perform other related duties and special marketing projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Several years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand management.
  • High attention to detail and strong focus on business acumen.
  • Excellent decision-making and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools including social media platforms, SEO/SEM, and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing design software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Language skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such chemical labels, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and manuals.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus
 
Physical demands:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Travel:
  • Must have a valid driver's license, car insurance, and a reliable means of transportation.
  • Must be able to travel company branches and customer locations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.
